Pupcycled: Our Team and Divisions
Here at Pupcycled, our team members all work in different divisions to contribute to the team in different ways! In this blog, we cover some of the main divisions our team members and volunteers are split up into.
Our blog team works together to write new articles to put on our website! From informative articles regarding pup health to event recaps to our monthly newsletters, our blogs are meant to be a way for us to keep our community engaged and informed. Additionally, blogs about our team, such as this one, aim to make us as an organization more transparent about how we operate.
Our social media team creates content for all our different platforms. They manage our Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok pages. In engaging with both our community and reaching out to the larger platform, their goal is to reach more people with our message and mission, while giving our followers new, fun updates, keeping our social media pages and branding consistent and fun!
Our outreach team manages communications between our organization and our partners. Their role involves contacting the libraries where we host events and scheduling times weeks in advance to give both the library and our team plenty of time to plan for them. Additionally, they contact various shelters in the local area, offering to work with and send out our toys.
Our chapter heads are responsible for a variety of tasks for their location. They manage and plan out long-term goals for their local chapter, helping our team grow and expand with specific, actionable items in mind. Chapter leads take on the important responsibility of recruiting volunteers locally to them. Through their help, as each chapter grows, Pupcycled’s mission reaches more communities and more shelter dogs all across the nation.
Despite our roles, members take on varied, nuanced tasks as needed. As a whole, Pupcycled’s separate divisions allow all of our team members to take on a specific role they are passionate about. Collectively, despite our varied roles, we all work towards Pupcycled’s mission to reach and provide shelter dogs with sustainable toys handcrafted with love.
